Lawrence D. Kaplan M.D. is from Atlanta, Georgia. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University in North Carolina, completed medical school at Atlanta’s Emory University.
Dr. Susmita Rajanala is from Hyderabad, India, where she received a Doctorate in Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine from Seton Hall University, New Jersey, and a Critical Care Medicine fellowship from Cooper University Hospital, Camden, NJ.
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Paul B. Weinberg M.D. attended High School at Westminster. After graduating he went to Brunswick, Maine where he obtained an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College, majoring in History.
Dr. McGann was born in Peoria, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from St. Louis University.
Dr. Prasad Garimella is originally from Atmakur, India. He graduated with honors from Kurnool Medical College, subsequently completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Weiss Memorial Hospital, University of Chicago. He earned his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from Cook County Hospital and his fellowship in Sleep Medicine from Rush University Hospital, Chicago.
Dr. Jasani has been a pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine physician in Gwinnett since 2001. He is particularly interested in and well recognized for evaluating and managing of sleep disorders. He is a founding medical director of Gwinnett Sleep, the sleep disorders center of Gwinnett Pulmonary Group.
Sarah J. Hayat M.D. received her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s College for Women in Pakistan. She completed medical school at AGA Khan University Medical College, also in Pakistan.
Dr. Vosudesh Pai is from Hyderabad, India where he received a Doctorate in Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine from Henry Ford Hospital.
Waqar Siddiqui, MD, completed his medical school from Dow University of Health Sciences, one of the most Nobel medical schools in Pakistan. He completed his residency training from Capital Health Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and his fellowship from the University of South Alabama.
Dr. Naveed Sheikh hails from Pakistan, where he studied medicine at Punjab Medical College and Allama Iqbal Medical College. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Sheikh completed his first internship at Jinnah Hospital in Pakistan.
Dr. Edwin “Cory” Gunn is a Georgia native. He grew up in Canton, Georgia with family and friends in the Lawrenceville area. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Microbiology, and later went on to study Medicine at Mercer University in Savannah, Georgia.
Dr. Chance Lewis grew up in Dandridge, TN. He graduated from Carson Newman University with a degree in biochemistry and then went on to study medicine at the University of Tennessee.
He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Thereafter, he completed his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Wake Forest University and served as Chief Fellow.
Opal joined Gwinnett Pulmonary Group in September 2014 as a Nurse Practitioner. She is Double Certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
Lynn joined Gwinnett Pulmonary Group in July 2014. Originally from Indiana, she began her nursing career at Indiana University Medical Center.
Antonette O. Sanderson is an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Georgia and Medical College of Georgia-School of Nursing in Augusta, GA.
