Founded by Lawrence D. Kaplan M.D. in 1983, Gwinnett Pulmonary Group has grown to become the largest pulmonary group in Gwinnett County.
We have 8 physicians specializing in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine.
We are dedicated to the health of our patients by providing the highest quality of care for patients with pulmonary diseases, critical care illness and sleep disorders.
We have 2 convenient office locations (Lawrenceville, Duluth). We are affiliated with Gwinnett Medical Center Lawrenceville and Duluth Campus to provide Critical Care (Intensive Care Units) and inpatient services. We are on call 24 hours a day to handle emergencies.

Sarah J. Hayat M.D.
Dr. Hayat received her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's College for Women in Pakistan. She completed medical school at AGA Khan University Medical College in Pakistan. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virgina.
